Tech Lead

Job Description:

Technical Lead. You think more as a boss than as an employee on technology leadership. You lead the tech team and work closely with business to develop products, improve quality and explore new possibilities.

Responsibilities:

Communicate, comprehend and work with Business to provide solution architectural, developmental and technological options according to our roadmap

Mobilise and lead product management, web engineers, UI/UX designers, and data engineers to deliver top notch products and quality on schedule

Develop and lead a DevOps team: recommend resource needs and allocation; put right people at the right seats (according to their unique capability); ensure they do things right (deliver quality and on schedule)

Balance long term code health and sustainability with progressive business needs

Design and develop DevOps best practices and performance

Own each module and its features from initial discussions through to release

Guide, coach and mentor junior developers

Prerequisites:

BS in Computer Science or a similar field or relevant experience

7 years of professional experience building large scale frontend and related backend workflow, booking, documentation, database & other applications

Strong work ethics, positive attitudes, and a great personality that brings joy to work

Experience working with SQL, relational databases, big data, graph database is a plus

Experience with service oriented architecture and REST based web service development

Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, tools, and libraries like Angular, React Native, NPM, Promises, ES6, and Webpack

Ability to identify and apply appropriate design and integration patterns to deliver complex business requirements

Experience working with cloud-based systems (GCP, AWS) and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus

Effective verbal and written communication skills, and organisational skills

Backend Developer

Job Description:

You should be a highly skilled Backend Coder who understands and works well with business to deliver superior quality products on time. You should be constantly challenging yourself to collaborate better with the team, explore new possibilities for better product-quality, and succeed with the team.

Responsibilities:

Grasp needs quickly, provide solution options, and collaborate with product management, web engineers, and data engineers to deliver according to production schedule

Develop solutions and services using PHP or other technologies

Develop rich consumer experiences using Node and React

Write and maintain clean codes

Provide input on development best practices

Own features from initial discussions through release

Guide and mentor junior developers

Prerequisites:

BS in Computer Science or a similar field or relevant experience

minimum 5 years of professional experience working on building large scale frontend and PHP or other related backend applications

Responsibilities:

Arrange meetings to present co.’s service offerings

Liaise with customers to sign contract and renewal

Follow up with customers for account registration and booking

Provide feedback on customer’s needs for continual improvement and development of product and services

 

Prerequisites:

No prior experience needed – you just have to be hungry for sales and learn fast.

Excellent if you are bilingual in English and Mandarin and speak some Singaporean local dialects.
